Wards Swim School was pioneered in January 2006 by Yvonne Ward and her daughter Nicola Clark. Both have many years of teaching experience behind them and rest assured your children will be in expert hands!

Yvonne Ward a teacher with over 35 years experience has successfully taught swimming at numerous schools in the Boroughs of Havering and Barking & Dagenham. She has also taught swimming at club level throughout her career. She is a qualified Amateur Swimming Association coach and a member of the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches. Yvonne has won many accolades over her teaching career and she is very well known within the swimming world.
Nicola Clark has been involved in swimming from a young age competing at club and Southern County levels through to teaching for the last 25 years. Nicola has taught to club standard and has taught school children to swim. She is also a qualified ASA teacher and likewise is a member of the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches. Nicola is fully qualified in Child Protection having attended an ASA endorsed course.
We are a fully insured Swim School with a comprehensive up to date insurance policy (to a value of £10 million) which is endorsed by the ASA and provided by the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches (ISTC)
